Since 1993, the non-profit Wyland Foundation has inspired millions of people around the world to become caring, informed stewards of our ocean and waterways.
The Alewife Cove Conservancy was founded by a concerned group of local community members committed to preserving the ecosystem at Alewife Cove.
It was inevitable that we would connect to help each other in our shared mission of saving our precious waterways.
WELCOME TO NEW LONDON
Wyland's "Whaling Wall"
World-renowned environmental artist WYLAND has returned to New London 30 years after painting his "Whaling Wall" in order to create a new mural in it's place. This time the city prepared the wall specifically so the new mural will not deteriorate from moisture behind it.
